Dear Friends,
The Circular is running short of
articles. Please remember your pledge of
50 words every year.
Dear fellow Directors of the
Association, you could write on the day to day transactions, just mention any
news.

Subject: RE: Andrés Larsen: Giacomo Tomaselli? Did your family
own a restaurant in POS?
Hola Amigos -
Yes, I remembered Franco
Marconi from 69 or 70.
Yeah, he was short & fat,
a bully to the younger boys and sucked up to the older ones, he was a goalie
also.
Anyhow, how could I forget
him, one day he was suppose to give sweet drinks to us, and I grab one and ran,
he caught meh and kick meh in the face, ah thought ah was dead, he had a black
belt in karate, anyhow I was o.k., knight of steel, but ah did cry ha! ha! we
the younger ones would pick on him.
That restaurant is where
someone was killed, believed by the mafia.
A bit after or before that he
left.
All the guys from 69/ 70 would
remember well.
Hope this answer your
question.
Yes, he was a Mount boy, and
there are many out there, the good, the bad, the ugly, and then the day boys,
ha! ha!
Our Club knows these
differences, and only remain in contact with those who have chosen to walk in
the light.
Cheers, Mis Amigos
Cheers, Mis Amigos
Adios, Glen.

Hola, Andres and everybody:
Yeah, ... although I don´t
remember the name of the Mount boy involved, but I do remember his face and the
incident quite well in the late 60´s.
He was a bit older than me.
It was this Mount boy (along
with others in his family) who all went adrift in the high seas while taking a
boat or yacht from T&T to Grenada due to some kind of engine trouble (?)
And yes, they did drift for
many days (or perhaps week (s)? ) in the Caribbean while drifting westward with
the Tradewinds until they were rescued deep inside Venezuelan waters.
After recuperating, he
returned to the Mount, still with a severely sunburned face and with marks of
peeled off skin all over.
In due time he recovered and
all went back to normal.
I remember the boy´s face
well, (at least as he looked back then) but, unfortunately, not his name, since
he wasn´t my friend directly, as he was older than me (and in a class ahead)
therefore not in my social circle in school.
I remember when he returned
finally to the Mount, we all wanted him to tell his story, but he was still in
shock and didn´t really want to give details about the incident.
I remember him as a nice,
easy-going, "no trouble", kind of guy.
I wonder if this story has
come full circle now?
A harrowing story,... to say
the least ...

Giacomo
Tomaselli?
Did your family own an Italian
restaurant in Port of Spain near the central prison?
Were you the one who was on a
yacht or motorboat that went adrift in 1970 between Trinidad and Grenada and
the Yucatan current swept you dehydrated and sun-scorched over to Los Roques
where the Venezuelan air force and or navy (I don´t exactly remember which)
sighted and rescued you about a week later?

Dear Glen:
We were and had very, very
good allrounders at Mount!
It's my belief that -at least
in our period- that if we had better coaches we would have won many tournaments.
In my time we had a great
coach in athletics: PG Wilson.
At times Bro. Vincent world
bring great sportsmen to school
I remember a guy coming from
England- who gave our senior players - in Spanish we say clinica- on modern
English football strategies for that time.
We must also remember that
while St Marys and other colleges had over 300 or more students we were at the
utmost 150 or less students!
They had a bigger student
community from which to make their selections!
We had to play proudly all the
sports!
Wonderful times and great
competition spirit!
It is surely a long and
beautiful story!
Love you dearly my brother
Manuel

Hola, Mi Hermano Y Mi Amigo -
Great Grand Knight Sir Manuel,
Muchas Gracias for this reply.
There was an indirect
connection, see what ah say ha! ha!
We had all the sports you
could want on the mount, so many good athletes, from the beginning to the end.
I also ran the 100 meters and
the mile, and would place, ha! ha! then I start to smoke, end of that story.
I see you also ran hombre,
Bullet Howard & Richard Galt, I know the names well.
Thank You Very Much Manuel,
for all your support and the many encouraging emails over the years, you
are 200 % A Mount Boy.
Long Live Our Mount. Cheers

Pablo,
Gosh, you must have a memory
like no-one else's.
How did you ever come up with
these dates?
I have no doubt that they're
all correct, and I've inserted them all.
Thank you very much for your
most useful input.
Every bit helps, of course,
and I must say, we've come a long way since we started this little project,
thanks to so many guys and their various contributions.
Keep well.

Hello, Abidh,
Of course, I'd love to include
you in the group. In fact, I've already added your name. But maybe you can tell
me a little about yourself and the Class of 76. If you can remember the names
of your classmates, if you have their email addresses or telephone numbers, any
interesting anecdotes, anything worth remembering, any old photographs which
you'd like to share with the rest of the Old Boys. I'm sure they'd all like to
hear from you, because your class must have been one of the last ever to
graduate from MSB, am I right?
The originator of this latest
effort, which has gone on for about 5 years or so now, is LADISLAO KERTESZ,
from Venezuela (Class of 1960), and he is ably assisted by DON MITCHELL Q.C.
who lives in Antigua, I think.
I see that you work with CIBC
here in Canada. Might I ask where you're located?
If you ever get close to Ajax,
maybe we could share a cup of coffee sometime.
Be good and God bless you.
